OUR HISTORY

Casey's Furniture has been defining quality and value since the 1930's – over 75 years. The original retail store, opened by the current owner's grandfather, featured household furniture and appliances. In fact, a Maytag® man was onsite for over 40 years, servicing the many Maytag appliances sold through the store. With the emergence of the "big box" models and discount appliance stores in the early 1980's, not to mention an aging, yet loyal, Maytag man, Casey's needed to focus on what it did best – offering high quality home furnishings and accessories, while delivering unmatched levels of quality service.

Unique Fact: At one time, many citywide, USO dances were held on the second floor of the current Casey's Furniture building. On occasions, footsteps can be heard from above when no known Casey's personnel are on the second floor. In fact, one second floor window has been mysteriously found open on several occasions. It's quite ghostly. We guess the party really never ends!
